    [Confirmed] Sleight of first deals damage to early.

    Dota 1: Xin first plays attack animation then damage then he teleports to another target.

    (my sick adobe premier skillz)
    Dota 2: Xin will first deal damage then wait 0.2 seconds
    [08:29.39] Pugna hits Ember Spirit with Nether Ward for 37 damage (1422->1385).
    [08:29.39] Ember Spirit hits Pugna for 203 damage (472->269).
    [08:29.39] Ember Spirit receives modifier_ember_spirit_sleight_of_fist_caster buff from Ember Spirit.
    [08:29.63] Ember Spirit hits Axe for 179 damage (624->445).
    [08:29.83] Ember Spirit hits Nature's Prophet for 136 damage (1328->1192).
    [08:29.89] Ember Spirit loses Nether Ward debuff.

    As you can see from the battle log it is exactly 0.2 seconds. Actually wait...

    so damage should be dealt at the end of the 0.2 sec interval. ic. ty for the quick answer

    As you can see first slash is 0.23 or 0.24 seconds all other are 0.2 seconds.

    iirc it's the standard WC3 random unit attack delay for sounds to spread out. (http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=89415) In dota2 that delay is 0 (and I'm happy it's 0).

    That way one more serie of bugs was fixed.

    First, there was a bug in dota1: Xin was missing hits when that random delay > time spent jumping on one particular unit. That bug was fixed when SoF xin was given a huge melee buffer of 2k units (6.78?) but it lead to another bug of not giving a splash on the missing hit, instead giving a double splash on the next one (damage-wise it doesn't change anything, just an ugly fix).
