Esc not working when you want to skip the Valve intro

I thought my esc button is broken because it is not working when I want to skip the Valve intro but when I played a game my esc is working. Pls fix it Volvo.

Seems more people have this issue. Add -novid to your launch options in the meantime. Removes the video completely.

I've been using it since forever and I've never had any problems.

    Same problem
And the option -novid is not working at all anymore, that has been the case since ~ 3 months

If you have a multi-monitor setup, it's possible that the OS focus has shifted away from dota.exe, though the video is playing. Try clicking on the screen the video's on, THEN pressing escape.

Same here. Using single monitor. Esc and Enter doesnt skip the valve intro, but if i make 1 press with the mouse then Enter or Esc it will work.
    Working normally in dota2 test.

I also cannot skip immediately, but I can skip by pressing Esc AFTER clicking the screen.
