    This skill definitely works on some heroes. I have never had it cause problems on a ranged hero (it gives enormous range). This is probably similar to the Moon Glaives bug where it doesnt work for some melee heroes.

    I believe I have figured out the source of this bug. Compare the hero data for antimage (confirmed not working with glaive/dragon) and tide (does work)

    I have checked several other heroes that others have said to work with glaives and or dragon form. And they do not have the 0 projectile speed line. Earthshaker, the original poster's hero, also had the 0 projectile speed line and his dragon form did not work.

    It may be safe to assume that if your hero does not have the projectile lines in the hero data, you can safely pick these skills, for now.

    edit: I found that the base hero stats are for a ranged hero with 900 projectile speed which tide/lycanprobably fall back to

    Great job. Do you mind creating a list of heroes without projectile speed lines, so we can know which heroes can actually pick up EDF (instead of avoiding it like the plague)? It will also aid testing to ensure that the projectile speed lines are indeed the cause of the bug.

    Alright here is the list I think that should work with glaives/dragon form (by work, the projectile should not get stuck in the air). I am also assuming that glaives work the same way, if not, then this list only applies for dragon form.

    I played Wraith knight with dragon form and had the same issue. But for example on Phantom assasin it works fine.

    I tried it on Anti-Mage and it didn't work too.
