    [Confirmed] Multiple Venomous Gale work incorrectly

    Refreshes the duration in Dota 2.

    No, the strike damage and the dps work independently. Will post a WC3 video.

    Since the latest recode, Venomous Gale damage stacks independently, and the debuff starts again from max slow.

    Also, the entire spell now does Magical Damage, but the debuff is still Universal.

    Venomancer's Venomous Gale Initial Damage Bug

    When casting Venomous gale on someone 100 magical damage is applied as "initial damage" plus 90 damage per tick. By purchasing Refresher orb and casting venomous gale again, the debuff is reapplied but the initial damage isn't if the previous Gale's debuff is still active. And yes, I tried this with level 4 venomous gale. (Not level 1, I know level 1 has no initial damage)

    This is easy to reproduce by getting a refresher orb, casting gale, seeing the initial damage, activating refresher, casting gale on the same hero before the first gale runs out, and noticing there is no secondary initial damage.

    refreshing a buff never applies the initial effect
    for example if you cast another earthbound on the same target the initial stun does not get reapplied

    I'm not sure I agree with you, because that is a unique spell in which it doesn't stun the target but is coded to directly cancel the channel and prevent blinks.
    Plus having the initial damage from Gale go though fits the theme of Veno's existing spells, specifically his passive where he must cause damage (from his auto attack) to reapply the poison touch.
