    I don't even know... HELP

Hi, I'm a Ubuntu user and I have just gotten these bugs that literally make it impossible to play.. First, when I find a match, and go into the Dota loading screen, It's just black, and there's still the 'loading' icon at bottom right corner, I don't hate this.. Doesn't really effect the game, but if it's fixable; Great! Next problem.. The character picking is fine, nothing big there, but when I get into the game that's when it really bugs. The whole screen is static, I get random symbols and color tears across the screen, and you can't even see anything. Making it impossible to play, if anyone else is having these problems please share, any feedback is appreciated.

When it comes to most problems with Dota 2 on Linux, we need to know what your graphics card is and what drivers you have installed. You should be able to check that through the system information option in steam's menus.

The open source driver for nvidia GPUs still has a lot of bugs and performance issues. To play a game like dota2 on linux you'll probably prefer using nvidia's proprietary driver instead.

I have the same problem. Its definitely the graphics driver (3rd party).
