Custom games crash to desktop on pressing start game

I can create a lobby but whenever I press Start game I crash to desktop with this error:

    Launcher error

Failed to load the engine2 DLL

    Path: "c:\steam\steamapps\common
    dota 2 beta\dota_ugc\game\bin\win64\engine2.dll"

    Error: (0x000000c1) %1 is not a valid Win32-application.

Is there something I can do against this or does it need to be patched?

    Thanks in advance
    -Gramps

    from this quote

    Error: (0x000000c1) %1 is not a valid Win32-application.
it looks like, you try to host(run) dota2 workshop alpha tools on a 32bit windows system.

You need at least win 64bit (at the moment) to HOST lobby´s to play on.

(if i am being wrong here pls correct me)

Do your alpha tools open up when you click on them in the steam interface?

Hey Gramps, If you are still experiencing crashes I recommend going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\dumps and submitting the crash dump here in this forum (if you have multiple dumps, reproduce the crash and take the latest-created dump). Before attaching it, rename it simply to crashdump.dmp (or remove the ".exe" part in the name) so that it uploads and attaches properly. You will likely get a better reply and perhaps a solution in this case.

i also had similar problems, but without the error popup, even my dumps folder are empty. i suspect my spybot SnD or AVG 2012 firewall that prevent the custom games to show up.
