    [Suggestion]Making Roshan ICON disappear and re-appear on the minimap

    Just like in DOTA1, when the ROSHAN is gone, the icon will disappear from the minimap and when it is respawned, the icon will come back, please make that change back.

    In DotA you had to go to it's spot for the icon to appear/disappear. For instance: he was alive, the dot would be shown, if you would kill him and left, the dot disappears. If the other team killed him the dot would still be shown even if you saw "Roshan has been killed by X". Or when it would respawn, the dot wouldn't just appear after the 10 minutes, you would have to check the pit.

    Agreed, this is just an unnecessary complication that requires players to memorize something. Yes, the timing is relatively trivial, but showing something is possibly there would be nice. Maybe just show the timer that the spectators can see for the players. This game already has so many user unfriendly features, making something easier for people to understand isn't a bad thing. This is why they're making a tutorial. While we're talking about mini-map updates. Let's also show (?) on the rune spots every 2 minutes until scouted by a friendly (wards count). Again rune timings is an unnecessary timing memorization.

    I'm sorry if this makes your precious hardcore game too softcore, but that is where the money (and a majority of the population). This game is already difficult to learn and teach to people without these additional hints.

    I would suggest that.
    But, if you can't remove the Roshan icon, why don't change the color of it? For example, turn the icon gray or green when he is dead and turn red again, when he stoles the Aegis and ressurect again.

    This is a harmless porting suggestion. It could go either way. We already have the creep camp markers, so applying those to roshan should be no big deal.

    No, this is a poor suggestion. It's the players' responsibility to remember the time roshan was slain. All you have to do is type the time that roshan was slain in the chat log "21:56". Same concept goes for knowing that runes spawn every 2 minutes.

    Please stop trying to make dota less complex because you are too lazy to memorize trivial things. These little things players have to know/memorize are what separates experienced players from novice players. Look at the path WoW has taken in terms of being newb-friendly. Do you really want dota to follow that horrible path?

    No. If you want to become a mid/high skilled player you need to start communicating and paying attention to the game. You learn faster if you start doing stuff yourself, rather than the game doing it for you. Also, the time is "ab:cd". Just remember the "b" since I doubt that you'll want to do rosh again after 30 mins rather than 10 mins. Ex: Lycan kills rosh at 18:23. Look at the clock and you'll see the min and remember that he died before min 20 and also remember the 8. 10 mins later look at the clock, obviously the first digit is 2 and you know aprox. the time he killed it so you decide to check at around 17 -18:30 and wait there or check again in 1 min if he's not there.

    Also, while not really needed, the "Roshan will reclaim aegis in x minutes" was pretty neat, especially since it lasts only 6 mins now.
