[Fixed] Tempest Double can use Muted Items

FIXED AS OF THE 19th DECEMBER, IT CAUSED A NEW BUG, THOUGH!

Muted items (items that belong to other heroes) work on Arc Warden's Clone: Tempest Double.

Repro:
Have another player drop an item
Pick up the item on Arc Warden
The item will be muted like normal
Use Arc Warden's ultimate
The Tempest Double will fully benefit from the item despite the item being supposedly muted
The items are still muted on Arc Warden himself

Result:
Tempest Double gains item benefits that should be muted

Expected:
The items should be muted even on Tempest Double.



This is an old Bug that used to work on (for example) Illusions as well.

All illusions can use muted items as well (e.g. allied radiance works). This is probably the same bug. Items copied from the source's inventory are not checked for ownership.

I just tried replicating this in a private lobby and it says the tempest double cannot pick up items. Fixed already?

You pick up the items with your original hero and then create a double. It copies the items which don't belong to you and can use them.

Right, my bad.

Edit: Just tested, the double can use any item given to the original by a teammate, confirming the ownership check being skipped as you said. Some notable examples of items given from teammates:

Midas - gives gold but no exp (as expected since the double is using it).
Tango - duplicates a given (not shared) tango that the double can use. Not particularly helpful, but I thought it was fun.
Bloodstone - Double can suicide, but will not heal allies.

Any other item I've checked (shivas, dagon, necronomicon, etc) works fully when activated by the double.

Todays (19th December 2015) Update has "fixed" this issue, by preventing the Tempest Double to copy any non-Player-owned items.

While this is a good fix, it fucks up the Arc Warden player by not copying (shared) Bottle, allied/enemy Gem of True Sight and the other various legit shareable Items anymore.


Tempest Double does currently NOT copy Gem of True Sight (allied/enemy), Bottle (allied/enemy) & some other (allied/enemy) shareable Items anymore.

At least Gem & Bottle (regardless if allied or enemies') should be shareable with the Tempest Double. Logically all Items, that are intended to be shareable (such as those small rings & perseverance), should work on the Tempest Double as well.
