Sound in general too low.

Hello, I'm not sure whether I should be posting this here but, the sound I hear from music sounds terribly low.

And looking at volume mixer shows that dota 2 is barely playing (1 bar thingy)

is there a way to increase the volume or is this a bug?

Have you tried the settings menu? It's a cog on the top left. Has all the options available including separate sliders for music, sfx, voice chat and unit speech.
