Seems like the files are corrupted, try verifying the game cache, to do this right click DotA 2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of game cache
or just do what the guy above me says

Please email me ( rickmus@valvesoftware.com ) the following information:

    1. Steam Help menu, the System Information restuls
    2. After you start a match, issue a 'condump' and send the file it creates
    3. After you start a match, issue a 'mat_drawtexture _rt_deferred_diffuse' and take a screenshot. mat_drawtexture "" will clear the image off.

    Thanks

    RJ

Of the three people who have emailed me, two had the Intel 945 chipset. This barely puts it foot in the door of a DX9 card. It appears though that it doesn't support R8G8B8A8 or F32 texture formats, which are needed for the deferred render.

If you could, please provide me with the following:
    1. Download the DX SDK ( http://www.microsoft.com/download/en...s.aspx?id=6812 ) - sorry, the app which can provide me with exact details is only available in this package - and install it.
    2. Run the DirectX Caps Viewer
    3. Under the file menu, do the "Print whole tree to printer", select the XPS Document writer, and email me the generated document.

    Thanks

    RJ

So I guess it's a GPU related issue?
I also have an intel chip with the same exact issues, lowest settings and all.

you know why its greeny? its bcuz req system not enough, maybe lack of processor speed or pixel shader req. my friend got smooth run on 256mb video memory, and me 2GB RAM. so, as low as 2.6ghz, 2gb ram, 256mb video memory would be possible.

Hey RJ, I have the same sort of problem with an Intel chipset as well and I e-mailed you the stuff you asked. Since my model is different from the one you listed I hope it can be of use as well, if not sry :P
