[Fixed] Spectral Dagger Debuff Remains on Hero after Buyback

Saw this a couple days ago. Dark Seer got hit by Spectral Dagger and died, then bought back. Upon buyback he left a functioning Spectral Dagger path in the fountain area, until the debuff disappeared.

Not sure if this is just Dark Seer, or every hero.

    Repro Steps:
    1. Play against Spectre.
    2. Accumulate enough gold for buyback.
    3. Die but get hit by [targeted] Spectral Dagger just before you die.
    4. Buyback.

Result: You may leave a Spectral Dagger path with your respawned hero.

Expected Result: Respawn with no debuffs.

It's like in DotA1 actually. The triggers don't care if you're dead.
Anyway, respawning should remove all buffs/debuffs imo.

    Which triggers do you mean?

I'm pretty sure most debuffs disappear the moment you die and buyback. The one that seems to stick even after death/buyback is "Spectral Dagger Path Creator" (if you are the one Spectre clicked on).

That is not a buff, that is a trigger, the buff/debuff are the speed% change.

OK that makes sense. But is the trigger supposed to stay on you after you die and respawn? Intuitively dying should clear you of everything. And it's weird to respawn and make a black path and be slowed as you walk out of your fountain.

    It's just how triggers work.

If Valve wants to fix it they can, but keep in mind this would be a huge buff to skeleton king and aegis.

Not really.. Only a few spells ignore death. Most stop when the status buff is gone and death removes every status buff.

Yes, really. It would still be spells that didn't affect them anymore.

This issue is no more. Just like the Queen of Pain poison bug that I confirmed for the fix yesterday.
Video will come in 5 minutes...
(Sorry for a slightly long one)

Sorry, but it still does. If you select it on the hero rather than past it, so still present.
