Draw lines on the minimap by holding ctrl and dragging left click in the actual world

So the idea is that in the same way you can ping by alt+left click anywhere you should be able to hold ctrl and draw a path on the minimap by clicking on the ground.

This would allow you to more accurately draw lines and would be a bit faster too.

how can it be more accurate?
the screen u see is not enought for u to draw a line that points to something on minimap.
So,u would have to hold ctrl and move the camera, thus increasing the draw area....
Slowly moving camera and drawing on full scale,or using a minimap for quick sketch...u dont have to be a genious to figure out which one is more practical.

OP is not saying minimap drawing should be disabled.

All he is saying is that it would be nice to have the possibility to draw lines directly in the area, especially if it's near where your hero is standing.

Of course, this is not top priority right now, but would be good to see this in a future update.

    i know that.
and i dont mind this being optionable, but the point its its useless.
What can u draw on 1 screen size "canvas",that will be clearly visible for other teammates on minimap?

For what is this function gonna be used?

    +1 for sure.

I actually had proposed the same feature in this topic: http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=19572

It would help people to do a faster drawing in the middle of an action.

U could use it in the middle of battle to show the direction to your team. U cant actually draw on minimap when u are fighting.
Besides, it wouldn't hurt anyone who doesn't like it.

    Definitely needs to be implemented.
