    Question Lua Scripting Introduction?

    Hi guys,

I am really interested in bot scripting. I used to script PAWN for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Multiplayer but gave up on that a while ago. About LUA, is there some sort of tutorial page where I could possibly begin learning LUA and some demos that could guide us towards bot scripting in Dota?

    Cheers,

and yes i know there is a wiki, but its very generic at this point I was looking forward to some examples of how LUA is scripted and whats the structure of it etc.

    Hi,
I have been researching on this for 1 hour now. My first impressions on Lua is that it is easy to pick up if you familiar with any scripting dynamic language. I am still downloading the test client to get the sample bot scripts. Will keep you updated with stuff i find helpful in learning. I am going to give some 3 or 4 hours everyday as I am in my holidays now. Will be happy if more people start posting their working codes.
