Unhappy When playing DOTA2, PC Freezed & "Disk Read Error" shown after Restart..

    Any1 ever experience this?

This PC is quite new (half a year++)..

It only happens during DOTA2.. PC will freeze all of a sudden & i'll need to hold the Power button for 5 seconds to turn it off..
No BSOD & the PC just freezed with the audio kept going on a loop..
It happens quite randomly though.. (for the past 200 games, maybe 30-40 times in total)..
But i've only seen the "Disk Read Error" twice after restart, which i clicked Ctrl+Alt+Del then everything boots fine..

Tried full Scan Disk aka Error-Checking & there's no Bad Sector..
    It's also an SSD..

Other than during DOTA2, everything else is fine..
I used to think it's cause by certain incompatibility with my other IM softwares which i also left on during DOTA2, but even without them it'll freeze randomly..

Hope any1 could shed light on this

have you tried attaching a normal hard drive and/or install the game on one to see if it still crashes?
You could also try a defrag (since you have a SSD and speed isn't an issue)...

Nope, it'll automatically install on our Steam folder right?
I heard we shouldnt Defrag SSDs :S

alright then, uninstall both the game and steam and put them both as I said in my previous post.

(no "need" to defrag your SSD - if you must not do it, then leave it alone)

P.S. Did you also try Check Game Cache's Integrity?

    Ok, let's see here.

    1. Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> Startup and Recovery -> Write debugging information. Select "Small memory dump", and de-select "Automatically restart". I suspect this will help at least with the freeze/sound loop.
    2. If you have any .dmp files in C:\Windows\Minidump, please upload one or two somewhere, for me to take a look; I prefer one that is more recent or larger than the rest.

    Btw, a new event happened..
First the game sound went silent for around 15-30seconds, except the creeps' attacks..
    Then my PC freezes..
Possible Sound Card or another other problem connected to Sound Effect/BGM?

PS: Will try Lamza's troubleshooting later..
    Thanks

I just had a crash like this. sound started crackling, graphics glitched and then the screen turned black and my computer rebooted.
