So no more following pro players, 99% of players match history is private?

So the account ID is replaced with a bogus number if their settings is set to not "expose public match data".
This means all the top players on stratz.com I can no longer go see their games and replays, even though technically every replay is available if you bother to download every match.
Bit of an extreme interpretation of european privacy laws.

You're right - if Valve wanna be fully compliant with GDPR they should also anonymize the data within the replay for players who've not consented to share that data.

I mean if you want to be strict about it then every match would have be private so that nobody can access it.

Except people who have their opted in to share their data, right?
