    Theres the problem. tier0.dll. It was modified in the last update. Have to wait until Valve fixes it.

    After analyzing someone elses memory dump they had FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: NULL_POINTER_READ_c0000005_engine2.dll!Unknown

    Can you check is you can run any other Source engine games? Like Half-Life 2 or CSGO.

    CSGO and Dota Underlords work just fine. Only Dota 2 crashes.
    I don't have Artifact 2.0 but some people crashing with Dota 2 are crashing with Artifact 2.0 with the same engine2.dll error.
    My error though is specifically tier0.dll.

    After 7 days I discovered a launch option that allows me to launch the game. it's "-32bit"

    Adding -32bit launch option didn't resolve the issue for my friend.

    that reddit thread has an issue with engine2.dll and mine is tier0.dll.
    I noticed he's using many launch options that I'm not.
    "-dx9 -nod3d9ex -forcepow2dxt -maxtextureres 128 -maxtextureres_2gb 128 -useforcedmparms -noforcemspd -noforcemaccel -nogammaramp"
    Though I'm able to finally launch with "-32bit" I'll crash on hero selection, cavern crawl, and end of the match quite regularly. It's always a tier0.dll error.
    I guess if it isnt tier0.dll "-32bit" may not work.
