I have been having a repetitive issue over the past couple of months which never occurred before (have been playing Dota for over a year before on same computer)

During gameplay Dota 2 will suddenly crash to desktop with no error message. when I rush to log back in sometimes it lets me into the game for a minute or two before crashing out again or sometimes it crashes on store screen or from loading screen.

I have tried restarting steam, my whole computer but to no avail. It does not always happen but if it happens once during a game it will reoccur for the duration of the game.

This has resulted in me being placed in the punishment pool a couple of times so obviously very annoying as I always try to log back in (unsuccessfully)

    Can you please advise.

Since last Sunday 12.04.2015 I've been experiencing Dota2 crashes. In event viewer they seem to be Application Hangs.

The program dota.exe version stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.
    Process ID: 17ec
    Start Time: 01d0795c2f78901a
    Termination Time: 180
    Application Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota.exe
    Report Id: 789fb83b-e54f-11e4-914e-85b62dde41b9

I've verified files, updated windows, changed/updated Nvidia drivers
    My PC specs are

    i5 - 3.5GHz
    GTX 970 Zotac Amp Omega
    16gb Ram
    500GB SSD.

I haven't seem to found a thread or a solution that concerns me or fixes this issue.

    Does anyone have any insight?

    Many thanks

Yesterday my game simply quit (no error message whatsoever) after winning a teamfight near the enemy's ancient. I may be paranoid, but is there any exploit capable of doing so?

Also before my game quit(a few minutes before it did), I had lags, like internet connection lags. I don't think my 1gbps connection speed was the issue.

This has never happened to me before, and I didn't test it out some more because that was the last match of the day I played. And I don't play many matches.

Hi, i'm experiencing a little bit of a problem here.

I was loading DOtA2 when my laptop crashed (blue screen)

I'm not sure if my Dota was patching at that time of the crash.

attempts to start up dota2 after that would result only up to the loading screen, and it crashes after that.

i've tried starting it up with compatibility mode, and updating all my existing graphic cards.

i havent been able to get into my BIOS. I've tried disabling quick start up but there aren't any options to get into the BIOS page.

    what else can i do?
