Don't you? I think most people (assuming it's a close chase and you have the time to switch targets) tend to look at the enemies movespeed and compare it to theirs. Knowing the values of those percentages isn't so important, and generally is something you only check once. If anything, it should be in the mouse-over tooltip. I'm not sure why they neglected to include an expansion of the movespeed adjustments in there.

tl;dr - See those two big colored numbers above? That's what it should look like. Only show the red one when slowed. If rooted, show the first one unless also affected by a slow.
This would be great to see at a glance. +1

The best solution, IMO, is to show the MS as a white default with no +speed, and green with the grand total after +speed is gotten. When moused over, the item can show how that number was achieved. Such as showing Power Treads under +60, and Manta Style under 36 (in this example)

    I.E.: 396 shown.
    When highlighted, shown 300+60+36=396

Edit: Someone beat me to it!

I dunno why it needs to show anything. You should be able to figure out intuitively whether you're fast enough.

When Chara winds up for a shot, would it be helpful for the goalie to see Speed=105? Maybe, maybe not, but in my opinion it's clutter and he should be able to instinctively time it. Sometimes numbers are unnecessary.
