Thread: Symmetrical UI round 2: Photoshop edition.

  1. #21
Not a fan- actually prefer the asymmetrical look, simply because there is less of that big diagonal rock next to the portrait.

Honestly, I don't care if it's symmetrical or not, as long as it's compact and all unused space is removed.

However, great work OP, as some people clearly do seem to like this.

All in all great mock up /support

    • The portrait feels just right on your version
    • I don't mind the map to be asymmetrical in size to the right side.
    • The stats look great in your version
    • I don't mind both top bars as long the K/D/A is on top.

    ---------------
    • I still don't like the "X" and teleport icon inside quick buy
    • Easier to read the gold off a dark background.

I like your stats and portrait much more than my attempt , but I prefer the right side of mine. Not sure if you can mix both together in Photoshop , my Photoshop skills are near zero.

I love it. It similar to the new UI but its so much easier on the eyes, and its not so distracting

Overall average (K+A)/D and K/D tracker, and a MMR solution?

I ABSOLUTELY love the most recent ui mockup from the OP. I really love the idea of simplify the extremely large stat icons such as the sword/shield and making the item icons larger and more noticable because it is much more functional to have a more noticable inventory rather than the useless stats that is very rarely checked or used.

The mockup in the OP looks great, but the glyph button seems to be too close to the courier ones. Might be easy to misclick.

THIS really DOES look nice! that is how the whole hud should be!! only that the items should be smaller.. inthat case it doesnt have to be that symmetric!
