[IMG] DOTA2 Items ICON SET Design Comparison CHART

This is a DOTA2 ICON CHEAT SHEET with all item icons arranged based on type. e.g. weapons, potions, headdress etc

Use this to compare the visual consistency of the items based on what type they are. E.g. Clarity should look like potion compared to others etc.
Feel free to link to this page or the images.
NOTE: This is in no way trying to replace the existing layout in the in-game Shop!

This thread will be updated as icons are updated by Valve.

Someone mentioned that Ethereal Blade and Butterfly look the same. I had a look and they really do when zoomed out all the way.
I will add these in for my next update.

Hi Andre. Ya something like that. Oh, I did not know you made something similar for DOTA.

My arrangement / classification are not for actual game use but more for DOTA2 item icon feedback.
I am sure this makes it easier to compare the icons to see if there is any visual design rule between the items in the same classification.

Your classification is too wide for me. Mine is broader.

The headress is impossible to distingguish without already knowing it is supposed to be a headdress
