    [Intended?] Phantom Lancer's Juxtapose proccing on hit

    Summary:
    Currently you only spawn illusions when your hit connects, compared to when your attack starts. This means you can no longer repeatedly tap S to force a quick succession of "fake" attacks, to increase your rate of illusions -- especially early in the game, when your attack speed is low. This way, you can basically get illusions out seven times faster, at the cost of not damaging the enemies. This is crucial if you're jungling early in the game, or intend to push a lane.

    Repro Steps:
    1. Pick Phantom Lancer
    2. Get at least point in Juxtapose
    3. Start fighting an enemy
    4. Tap S before your attack connects

    Result:
    Nothing. That's the problem!

    Expected Result:
    You're supposed to have a chance to spawn illusions.

    -- I've tested this extensively, so it is incredibly unlikely that it was just an unlucky streak. I have tried it both in DotA 2, and WC3 DotA.

    I guess this is an intended change. Bara's bash and Riki's Backstab behave the same now, and it's confirmed being an intended change.

    Maybe that's why it seemed that he got illusions up insanely fast sometimes.

    [Intended] Juxtapose never procs on missed attacks

    Summary:
    Juxtapose never procs when Phantom Lancer misses attack.

    Repro Steps:
    1. Pick PL and lvlup Juxtapose
    2. Pick some hero with chance to miss attack on him or buy Battlerfly

    Result:
    Juxtapose doesnt spawn illusions

    Expected Result:
    Jutaxpose works on missed attacks

    dota1 it even works on cancelled attack... i feel this is intended...

    Same as backstab, barathrum bash etc. which is on the intended fix list...

    They talking about spamming "S" to cancel attack here, but if you make a full attack animation, attack landed, just missed...it's a different thing in my opinion . Why you think it's intended? It's a huge nerf against some heroes like PA and all Butterfly buyers.

    It's still the same argument to backstab not proccing on missed attacks (which may actually be on the sticky now...), or barathrum's bash not proccing on missed attacks so either all of them should or none of them should - currently it's the latter.
