People still disappointed about not getting a new hero?

Rather be happy that they try to keep the game bug free.

Couple of good fixes (smoke, force staff, etc), but probably one of the weakest patches so far, feature-wise. meh.

No new hero means people will finally learn how to play the ones we already have. Yay!!

My issue is that they're treating the game like it's already released, being very cautious with new updates and apparently only adding what's all but finished (still, however, missing out on immense bugs which should be evident after only a few games of trying new heroes). It's a beta, and I don't really care too much about the perfect visuals as long as they allow us to give input on the content they're going to release. For example a thing like the big item icon update which caused a bit of an uproar could've been avoided if they wouldve churned out small updates all along and receiving feedback rather than dropping it as a bomb. The same goes for the UI update where they gave us an all but finished new UI, whereas they couldve easily modified the elements of the old one just to give us the gameplay bit, and later addding the visuals.

TL;DR: Valve aren't treating this game like a BETA (adding things all the time to get feedback) but rather as a retail product (adding very minor updates each week for very minor bugs).
