A tiny "wrong" in Storm Spirit's Lore?

Storm Spirit is literally a force of nature--the wild power of wind and weather, bottled in human form. And a boisterous, jovial, irrepressible form it is! As jolly as a favorite uncle, he injects every scene with crackling energy. But it was not always thus, and there was tragedy in his creation. Generations ago, in the plains beyond the Wailing Mountains, a good people lay starving in drought and famine. A simple elementalist, Thunderkeg by name, used a forbidden spell to summon the spirit of the storm, asking for rain. Enraged at this mortalís presumption, the Storm Celestial known as Raijin lay waste to the land, scouring it bare with winds and flood. Thunderkeg was no match for the Celestial--at least until he cast a suicidal spell that forged their fates into one: he captured the Celestial in the cage of his own body. Trapped together, Thunderkeg's boundless good humor fused with Raijin's crazed energy, creating the jovial Raijin Thunderkeg, a Celestial who walks the world in physical form.
IMHO, after hearing about his story, all other DotA heroes should try to summon and fuse themselves with Celestials.

I mean, there's no price to be paid, not even Thunderkeg's behavior changed, he just got the Celestial's powers.

E.G.: Why shouldn't CM summon a Frost Elemental and then add it's powers to hers? There's nothing to lose...

"a suicidal spell that forged their fates into one"

sounds like he is sacrificing something there. sure, he gains crazy magical powers, but he loses his life in the process.

It seems like their 'identities' were destroyed when they fused together into one.

    Who reads lores.
Anyway, Raijin is not a true Celestial anymore and forced to walk on the earth. Thunderkeg basically has killed himself.
CM in her lore is exposed as quite baddass already, so what's the point of using suicidal spells?

Like mentioned before, though part of his personality is still in Storm Spirit, Thunderkeg actually died when he cast that spell. Also, we don't know the details, maybe he was actually pretty lucky to get Raijin like that and other Celestials might not be necessarily as easy to trick.

Wait, what? A "simple elementalist" is a huge nerd with access to secret forbidden spells, but Heroes are not?

The history says it behaves exactly like Thunderkeg used to... How could his identity be destroyed, then?

    She was just an example.
Waht I'm saying is that, if a simple elementalist could do it, and become that powerful, what if an already powerful HERO did it?

OK, Radiant heroes won't try it, blablabla, but what about those megalomaniac Dire guys?

Also, some of them wouldn't bother with a small "con" on becoming more powerful (e.g. Lion), so the price to be paid should be extremely high for them to NOT try it...

He got lucky as the celestial was more busy to fkn destroy his peers rather than kill him,so he had time to cast the spell.Let us say there are other elementalists who heard about this(but since everybody was killed in the battle who told them? ) .I think the risk of getting killed in the battle is risk enough. Also you are implying that celestials are a brainless resource just waiting to be used.I'm guessin they are a bit more.

Furthermore this "Trapped together, Thunderkeg's boundless good humor fused with Raijin's crazed energy, creating the jovial Raijin Thunderkeg, a Celestial who walks the world in physical form."
I'll dumb it down since you don't seem to understand what this paragraph means: Clestial+Raijin=new entity(life form etc..) that has traits from both "parents".New is the key word.Their minds, bodies, traits, abilities fused and created something different from both participants. It is not said if any of the two retained their identities.

ALSO : "he cast a suicidal spell ".If you don't agree with me until now, agree with the meaning of suicidal.
