Unhappy Reasons why the hate towards the new interface from most users

    Constructive criticisms
    1. Random draft's screwed.
    2. Ineffective functionality of the slide format.
    3. White spaces.
    4. Too reliant on filters.
    5. Make grid view as default. (Easily solved)
    6. Grid view unpolished.

    Whines (Demands revert)
    1. Card format is stupid and useless.
    2. Unadaptable to changes.
    3. Too lazy to give feedback anyways.
    4. Don't fix what isn't broken, so don't improve.

    My feedback
    1. The slider format needs to be in the Learn tab.
    2. Take ideas from those GOOD suggestions in this forum.
    3. Iterations of improvements. No rush.
    4. Custom tailor the picker for each mode.
    5. If a newbie steps into a match without touching the learn tab, he deserves to be confused.

    Other's feedback
    1. Better slide effect for card view. Right now it's unresponsive and that makes it unintuitive. (By Irrelevante)

What to reply: Agreed / Add *xxx* / Pffttt don't listen to this guy Valve / nothing will change the fact that the old hero picker needs to come back
Why to reply: I need someone to bump this.
Why NOT to reply: Better threads need to be in the front page.
The point of this thread: The last point.

I agree about the card system in the learn tab. Cards can be quite a good way of conveying the immense amounts of information required in Dota, especially if Valve allows us to print off cards easily

    Nope.
Grid mode with improvement (not revamp) satisfies the same functionality as the old format.
    And that still isn't perfect.
Yes the turntable hero picker is stupidly bad (right now), but its not completely unusable.

Also, please consider the compatibility of the current structure once the implementation of cosmetics and maybe more comes.
