It doesn't look like 80% transparency right now. Probably closer to 20%.

Here's a comparison of blur effects from wc3 and dota 2.

Also the evasion isn't working as intended, but that's a different issue.

Your point? That the skill now visually reflects its name and intention correctly?
    specs for bugreports:
    i5-4200U
    AMD Radeon HD 8750M
    win 7

Where do you get this notion of whats intended?

    To quote from playdota:
" Mortred gains 80% transparency when a non invisible enemy hero is in a 1600 AoE."
    and
"The Phantom Assassin becomes hard to see by blurring her body and disappearing from the minimap when near enemy heroes."

She is neither transparent nor hard to see in Dota 2. If anything being blurry makes her stand out more.

I admit that since you could always see their health bar anyway that it the 80% transparency isn't too big of a deal.

But during big team fights being harder to click played a big part. Don't think the same effect will happen in dota 2.

Blur was always a weird name for a skill that fades the visuals. Now it fits.

The name means nothing when it comes to gameplay balance. Does Slardar's ultimate actually amplify damage? Not really, and the name doesn't imply revealing invis either.
