    Clipboard and URL for replays

I feel really dumb right now, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how the new clipboard system with URLS work.

Can anyone give me detailed steps as to how to use these URLS to jump straight to that point in a replay?

    Here is an URL: dota2://matchid=20630936&matchtime=598

I got it from a bug post, how do I use it ?

    Thanks.

    Several ways of starting it:
    - Start -> run (or just windows key + R) and paste it in there
    - Paste it in the folder url bar of some windows folder and hit enter
    - Some browsers support pasting it, but not all of them

Thank you very much, I will try this later this afternoon. Also would you happen to know what browser supports it? I have tried Mozilla and IE to no avail.

When I do the steps above it tells me no program is associated with that file or something like that. Guess I won't get it to work.

Same problem, I tried going to Control Panel-Default Programs-Associate a file type or protocol with a program. Couldn't find the correct file type to associate with Dota 2 (was looking for a dota2:// protocol or something similar).

I have tried using it in the steam brower, but I end up with an error screen similar to that of Mozilla or IE.

It's so ridiculous that there is not a single solution for this issue in the whole internet!

After i've searched lots of pages, articles, here is my experience about it: (I still couldn't be able to work it.)

    - I tried pasting it at Chrome, Firefox, Internet Exlorer and Windows Explorer. None of them worked but Firefox and Windows Explorer gave me some clues.
    - Then i tried to "Associate a file type or protocol with a program" . (as also @jypn682 notated here) I followed this: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...-protocol.html
    - And i realized that i must register a protocol because there is not an existing protocol for Dota 2. (There is only '.dem' but that doesn't solve anything.)
    - Then i've found myself at this page while searching to register a protocol; http://kb.mozillazine.org/Register_protocol . However couldn't find out what to do exactly.
    - End of story.

Note: This really shouldn't be that hard! -.-
