    although it sounds like an indended fix to me.

    that was about bkb & rupture.
    i am not sure, whether they had refraction in mind, when they did this change.
    better be safe. i am not sure, how often ta is picked in competetive games.

    REFRACTION

    Notes:
    Direct HP Removal does not trigger the ability
    The instance blocking and damage bonus are independent of each other.
    Only instances of more than 5 damage (after all reductions) will remove a charge.
    Blink Dagger and Tranquil Boots will not be broken (3 seconds cooldown) if TA still has instances blocking when she got hit. Non-combat consumables, such as Salve, will.

    can anybody tell me, whether this is the wc3 dota behaviour or if this is an intended change, so i can put it on the intended fix list?

    OP mentioned that this isn't the WC3 dota behaviour, and from my experience, you can't blink after you blocked any damage with refraction in WC3 dota. Can't reproduce at this very moment unfortunately.\

    Summary:
    If you use Refraction and then get hit by enemy, Blink Dagger doesn't get disabled.

    This is VERY abusable and makes her almost impossible to gank: even if you can counter meld, she can still just blink away unless you have one of the few heroes that can melt her Refraction fast enough. At some point in the game she will have manapool to support Refraction perma activated so it's a no brainer to always blink away when you get ganked.

    Back in Dota1, Blink Dagger would get disabled even if Refraction blocked all the damage. This hero is already a top SEA pick, she doesn't need this HUGE buff...

    That was originally added very recently (July 12 at 3:52 wiki time, whatever time zone it is) by a random contributor, so I doubt its official confirmation of anything. I think the wiki is community-supported, so it was probably just added because that's how it currently behaves.

    When was it you couldn't blink after taking dmg in DotA (ie, which version did they remove it?)? The only reason Lanaya was picked was due to the fact that she could still blink as long as refraction was up.
