    [Confirmed] Tombstone zombies & losing vision

    In dota2 zombies will camp around u when you invis and dont move. However if an ally arrives they will focus him and note something weird. Creepwave came and they switched target from axe to creeps and stayed there. Attacking seems to draw their aggression. They are like freemaphack (when you are NOT invis of course). They know where u hide in fog and follow you to death

    In DotA 1 we see a quite different behavior.
    First of all when you hide in fog, Zombies Die!
    When you go invis , they die instantly if no other units around.
    If another target available, they change target then.

    the going invis part is fixed.
    are you sure the zombies die when you go into fog in wc3 dota?

    Just tested it in wc3. Zombies DOES die when you run into fog.
    They do not die in dota 2 when you run into fog.

    Really quick: this is still partially bugged with invis and fully bugged with fog.

    Zombies will have their function run at 0.5s intervals or if you give them any order. Every time their function runs, they will attempt to check if their target is visible to their team (both fog and invis cause this to fail). If and only if they fail this check three times in a row, they die. Therefore, zombies should linger for 1-1.5s after they can't find their target, due to invisibility or fog or otherwise (less time if you're spamming attack/move commands on them for some reason). Currently, zombies die instantly in Dota 2 if their target goes invisible.
