    [Confirmed] Doom devour - upgrading skill and gold given

    Not sure if this is working as it should.

    Summary:
    When using Devour, the gold given is according to the level of the skill when digestion FINISHES, as opposed to when the actual skill was used.

    Repro Steps:
    Pick Doom
    Reach level 3, leave skills unspent
    Level Devour once, eat a creep
    Level Devour again
    Gold given is as lvl 2 Devour

    Result:
    Gold given is according to skill level at end of digestion

    Expected Result:
    Not sure if it should be given according to level when skill was used, or to when digestion ends.

    If this is intended, or working as it should.

    It should work as it worked in Dota 1. Does anyone know how that was?

    You couldn't level devour while it was in use in dota 1, the skill disappeared. So there's no "as in dota 1" achieveable here

    I think it's convenient.
    When you are laning, you always have devour ready when you have to wait like 50-100 exp till level 3. And most times you eat the creep, get exp for that and lvl up devour then. Then you get gold according to lvl 2 of devou(not lvl 1).
    It's pretty logical (because money is given at end of devour, when it is level 2), and Doom is a rather weak hero now, so I think this should stay that way(getting 20 more gold 1-2 times during whole match is not such a huge buff if you ask me)

    It currently work same way not just for devour. If you lvlup jugg's blade fury while it's active, damage will increase too. Same for buttle hunger, sandstorm (it also will increase channeling time, but it's only visual bug) and many other spells with duration. I think it was reported already, but i cant find it

    For clarification it's not the only one. It's the same as

    M 16 | leveling spell issues:
    - ['12.07.17] Death pulse projectiles in flight deal damage based on the level of the skill when it hits rather than when it was cast
    - ['12.07.15] If you level up shadow poison while enemy has the shadow poison buff the the dmg will increase you already gained will increase

    All particle spells effect and most spells in general (aside from directly coded as other, I believe I saw some (perhaps kunka x)) does their effect based on level when effect occurs, not level You start skill.
