    [Confirmed] Omnislash Vs. Ball Lightning

    Summary:

Juggernaut's ultimate seems to follow storm's ultimate a lot more in Dota 2 compared to DotA.

    Repro Steps:

    1) Pick storm and -createhero an enemy juggernaut
    2) Levelup both and put strictly 1 level into Ball Lightning, and 3 into omnislash
    3) Buy tanking items on storm so you don't die
    4) Cast omnislash and use ball lightning after 1 or 2 slashes

    Result:

Juggernaut's ultimate follows level 1 of ball lightning for the whole duration of omnislash

    Expected result:

Omnislash follows for a short distance, then stops (As in the video below) - I forgot to record SHORT jumps for DotA 1, but it follows and proceeds to hit storm afterwards, similar to Dota 2, so the only difference is longer distances.

True, weird thing is that if follows storm spirit full duration of omnislash, why it doesnt do the same with morphling waveform?
I dont think this is a major problem, will be on the "low priority TO DO list" of Valve (if it even is)

I'd like to see some more investigation into this one.

Is it because the search area is too big? Is Ball Lightning too slow? Are the jump intervals smaller?
    Please, just call me buny.

I done a research. Verdict: Omnislash juggernaut rotation is not completely random.

In Dota 1 it was completely random:

In Dota 2 however it has only two angles if the target does not rotate: 0 and 180

    Look at my video:

    You can clearly see that.

It all depends on angle your ball lightning and omni slash will have.

If it parallel then omni slash will always put juggernaut in front of ball lightning since he was behind it then jumped effectively giving best AoE for next jump:

As you can see juggernaut always is faced left meaning that he was just in front of ball lightning.

But if you use it perpendicular then search AoE will be ineffective and Juggernaut will not follow:

Short Summary: omnislash jumps is position is opposite previous jump instead of random and then used with with ball lightning will stuck you in position were search AoE is most effective to jump on ball lightning again.
