[Confirmed] Manta Style not dispelling any poison effects

I've noticed that this Shadow Strike skill is broken. I can't use manta to break it, I can't use bkb to break it. After I got SS-ed, I used manta, the SS effect is still on me. After I got SS-ed, I used bkb and the effect and slow and all the damage are still on me. Is this a bug or is this normal? Whatever it is, IT STILL IS BROKEN.

What we want is the slow off us. The damage is negligible. Nerf please.

Who is we? They can take their wants to playdota.com

It's a little late and I'm not sure if I was very clear in my first response but I hope the thread helped you realize the slow goes through magic immunity.

we are supposed to cancel qop's shadow strike with manta, tested it 10 sec ago

    so
qop cast shadow strike on target, target use manta style
    expected: shadow strike is dispelled
what we have:shadow strike isn't dispelled

I tested it in dota 2, and you'll get what i wrote in my post just above (though i don't test in test client, so mb they already did the change, but only on test client)

The test client only gets updated on wednesdays(or tuesdays) and shouldn't be used but to test the most recent patch before it goes live. It's irrelevant to any discussion.

Regardless, in dota1, tested in 6.74c, manta style does remove shadow strike. In dota2, it doesn't remove it. There is a bug/inconsistency. Bkb is another issue.

Please try to check what you are saying before you post a bug report, as it wastes a lot of time.

First of all, the damage does not go through magic immunity.

Take a look at this thread: http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?...=poison+remove
Then, possibly search for more threads.
BKB interaction was fixed because BKB isn't supposed to clear Shadow Strike.

However Manta should clear it. Added to sticky.

Manta Style not dispelling any of Venomancerīs poisons

When I checked the already reported bugs, i only found one about QoPīs Shadow Strike. The same problem exists for all of venos poisons too.

    Summary:
Venomous Gale, Poison Sting and Poison Nova not getting dispelled by using Manta.

    Repro:
Get a Manta, let an enemy Veno use all his spells on you, use Manta Style.

    Result:
All 3 poison effects remain (dmg + slow)

    Expected Result:
All 3 Poison effects get dispelled.
