    Just as a custom map though would be a nightmare. The SC2 editor is awful.

    The sc2 editor is amazing it just requires a lot of time and work as if you were producing a game from C++ or C# o.O

    It's great for scripting.

    It's awful for creating new units. Which, unfortunately, DotA would have to do a LOT of.

    Nothing wrong with creating new units. just takes a lot of work. Since when did work = limited engine.
