[Confirmed] Soul Burn triggers its damage too early

Summary: If you apply magic immunity on a unit that has the soul burn debuff it will get damaged by said debuff

    Repro steps:
    1) Pick omni knight
    2) get repel and orchid malevolence
    3) use orchid on a random non-friendly unit
    4) hit that unit
    5) use repel

Result: The unit gets damaged when you apply repel even though the 5 second time of soul burn is not over
    (proof: 2012-11-08_00001.jpg)

Expected Result: The unit gets magic immunity without receiving any damage from soul burn because the debuff duration is not over.
Actually in warcraft 3 the debuff displays the damage done by orchid at the end of the 5 second duration(regardless of magic immunity) but since the unit is magic immune it does not take any damage.(tested in draco lich's DotA v6.75btest)

I am pretty sure they have bugs with most statuses doing damage at their removal (daemonic purge, last word, orchid) - perhaps there's another issue with maledict?

So it seems the damage is done on removal of debuff with no proper checks to as what removed the debuff?

Whats the behavior on wc3 dota?
Any magic immunity/purge will cancel silence and soulburn?
Could this be a intended change by any means?

    This.
But it would be better if we could add that Soul Burn should deal the damage if the magic immunity effect has already worn off by the time the Soul Burn is going to deal damage. I'll explain it this way:

Apply Orchid (t = 0) > Apply magic immunity > Soul Burn (Orchid) (t = 5sec) > Magic immunity is worn off ---> No Soul Burn damage will be dealt.
Apply Orchid (t = 0) > Apply magic immunity > Magic immunity is worn off > Soul Burn (Orchid) (t = 5sec) ---> Soul Burn damage is applied, the target will be damaged.

Also, the magic immunity can be replaced with the Cyclone (from Eul's for example) aswell.
