    Add a forfeit function

Please add a forfeit function, so the games will end earlier. Should look like this:

You cannot forfeit before minute 20!
All 5 players need to forfeit.

Griefers gonna love that I prefer the HoN way of dealing with it personally, 15 min cc with 5, 30 min with 4.

Even more defeatist attitude, forfeit spam, flame and abuse within the team? People give up way too early already...

And cc spam in publics is mindblowingly annoying and rage inducing for all players.

yeah, but thats not the fault of the forfeit feature, its a completely different problem that doesn't really change with or without a surrender vote.

It does because people would try longer.
At least put a timer on it so people can't use the forfeit-function until 20-25 minutes into the game and if the gold difference is above *whatever you consider unlikely for a comeback* (possibly abusable since you could check if the other team is that far ahead by trying to vote)

Yes CC spam can be abit annoying when you know you still have a chance. But what if there is a cooldown after you have tried to cc, like 5 minutes. (HoN currently have 60 seconds on all votes). This would in a case mean if you and your mate dont want to cc that you have to put up to down voting 3 ccs in 5 minutes tops.

Basically this. How do you add a ff without boosting deafitist attitudes? You need some ways to raise the incentives to fight and turn the game around.

I agree. The community is way too negative already as it is. Maybe instead of focusing on whether there should be a concede option or not, you should focus on ways to encourage people to win faster.

One way to encourage faster wins is a ladder system that rewards "experience" (similar to the level/ladder system in WC3) based on how long the game is. For example, the team that wins should get a static amount of experience based on a win and then a variable amount of experience based on how long it took them. The longer it takes, the less experience it gives. For the losing team, they should earn a static amount of experience for a loss and then a variable amount of experience based on how long they were able to last. The longer the game, the more experience.

While I would assume a ff feature could be FAR less annoying, defeatist attitude is without a doubt amplified by a forfeit feature.

putting the haters aside for a second, the majority of players are not nerdragers who think the game is over just because they die twice. What if everyone agrees that the game is lost there are many legitimate situations where you know the game is unwinnable. I think a forfeit vote is a very important thing to have.
