[Confirmed] Enfeeble is reducing too much damage

    Summary:

Enfeeble is reducing the damage by 30/60/90/120, regardless of anything.

    Reproduction Step:
    1. Cast Enfeeble on anything

    Current Result:

Enfeeble reduces 30/60/90/120 damage from the victim.

    Expected Result:

Enfeeble should reduce 30/60/90/120 damage at max. If the victim has, let's say 80 (76 - 84) damage, then it should reduce 30/60/76/76 damage from the victim.
And, if the victim has bonus damage, let's say, a Divine Rapier, it shouldn't affect that bonus damage that comes from the item.
    So a 80 (76 - 84) + 300 damage should still be reduced by 30/60/76/76.

I just tried in DotA1 Test 6.75 and you can reduce more than base damage. Tested with techies with a relic, used enfeeble on him, he hit for 0.

Aren't you thinking of the old enfeeble?

And yeah, I'll report a bit, this patch is decent.

I tested with 6.77 Test Map... I don't know. I have done it without gathering information from resources. I was just going to test something else, and saw that I cannot reduce the damage of a unit to 0 with Enfeeble on W3 DotA...

i used the 6.77 test map and used chaos knight as he has a wide damage range (49-79, 64 avg). Against lvl 4 enfeeble, the display showed -49 and i did indeed damage while attacking. After adding 2 mithril hammer for 48 damage (would mean 97-127 overall), the display showed 49-79 - 1 (+48-49) and my attacks dealt around 35 dmg. So display was not bugged and i definatly didnt lose 120dmg

Actually, it also works like that in 6.77 regular map.

It might be a bug though, it got changed in 6.76 or 6.77 and it wasn't reported.

By "like that" do you mean the way I described, or the way you described?

I am confirming this with this screenshot from the official DotA 6.77b:
It is my own thread, can I confirm my own thread?

Have you tried to check that, even if it shows "-7", the unit still does a remainder of 3 damage, or none at all?

Afterall, it doesn't matter what the UI shows, what matters is the results. Considering what the UI shows, the satyr should now deal 0 - 3 damage. But, it could as well deal 0 - 0 damage due to the fact that the WC3 UI is made to show it that way.

Yes, I did it on DotA 6.77 Test Map.
    And also Belarion did:

I did not do it on the DotA 6.77b... I do not think it is necessary.
