Support. I usually navigate shops using this tree so if i have a vanguard and i want to buy a battlefury for example i would select my vanguard and click down to my ring of health, then on hte tree click on the perc and finally rightclick on the battlefury without ever navigating the shop.
Thanks for picking up Dota 2 valve guys!

All you need to do is right click item in inventory and click show in shop. Should bring up the item and tree of what it builds into.

I agree. Right-click + "Show in Shop" is annoying, slow, and has the opportunity for misclick.

Simply left-clicking the item from inventory should show it in the shop.

Also at the people saying "It screws up item activation" - people don't typically try to activate their items with the shop open. If you want to activate your item with the shop open, it's as simple as hitting ESC to close the shop and then activating the item.
