    [Fixed] Nyx' Vendetta & Dispersion

    Summary:

If Nyx dies to Spectre's dispersion with just his normal attack damage (i.e. before backstab) then his backstab will not go off.

On a sidenote I could NOT reproduce this with just a blademail, so it seems to be exclusive to dispersion.

    Repro:

    1) Pick Nyx, spawn an enemy spectre and give nyx a soul ring
    2) Give spectre 4 levels in dispersion, and nyx 3 levels in vendetta
    3) Drop nyx's hp to very close to 0 by using -wtf and the soul ring
    4) Activate vendetta and hit spectre

    Result:

Spectre takes only nyx's attack damage, and nyx dies before the vendetta triggers

    Expected result:

Vendetta is the same attack, so therefore it should just work :/ (Also tested on WC3 DotA)

Is this really a bug? The damage is dealt in a separate instance (like BH's Shadow Walk, maybe Shadow Blade as well) So if you die before the second 'Backstab' instance is launched you do no extra damage.

Can you test the Shadow walk interaction as well?

Im almost sure that dispersion damage triggers before spectre receives the actual damage. (based on gameplay experience, will do some tests later with a combat log).
Blademail triggers after you receive the damage, because you dont reduce the damage, you return 100% of what you received.

    The question now is:
Is this a bug or its intended?

From the Dispersion spell I've noticed this.
"Reflected damage is not felt by Spectre, effectively reducing the incoming damage."
/\ For me this backs up what ive said earlier.

    1) nyx start the attack against spectre
    2) dispersion reflect -> nyx will get damaged.
    3) damage received = damage - reflected damage -> spectre gets damaged.

The problem is that nyx dies beetween 2-3, so he dont land the hit.

Gondar's backstab was a special case in DotA1. The damage didn't come from Windwalk. That's why it bugged with Phoenix' ulti. Vendetta's damage however does come from Windwalk, and it's one instance with the attack.
    Please, just call me buny.

It still deals the damage with most other things, I tried with a dagon on 1 hp, and due to it being 1 damage instance it worked fine (proper damage to spec), so it just appears to be when attacks should have one instance of damage they can die in between...

I've tested with Gondar, Nyx, Shadow Blade.
It seems that every 'special' damage thats is dealt before actual hit can kill the unit and it will not land the normal attack.
    So:
Gondar, Nyx, anywone with a shadowblade may die without landing a hit.

Also ive found another bug with dispersion
