    Aura fade times/delays are inconsistent among each other

    The video above has been recorded with host_timescale set to 0.5 to show what's happening clearly.
    As you can see, the Degen Aura fades in a second in the video, and the Windrun aura fades in 5 seconds.
    The video was recorded with timescale 0.5, so;

    - Degen Aura aura fade delay is 0.5 seconds
    - Windrun aura fade delay is 2.5 seconds


    Well, they at least should be consistent among each other, and preferably, as said in the other thread by SoletLuna, set to be what it would be in W3 in average: 3 seconds (average of the minimum 2 seconds and maximum 4 seconds)
    The difference might actually be only on Omniknight's Degen Aura, I am not sure. I have only tested with 3 auras, including these two and Arcane Aura of the crystal maiden, which also yielded 2.5 seconds of fade delay.

    If anyone presents me a full list of auras, I may test them all in a day or two, depending on how long the list is, but I don't want to do a mass random test over this :D
    You also may pm me if you "feel" like an aura effect is fading too soon, but don't take this as a promise that I will test it

    Are these the only slows that use aura?

    What about dirge or invoker? What about the haste from track? (I have no idea, I'm just wondering which effects are subject to this).

    Is windrun the same aura as OK, but without the AS slow? Does windrun slow AS in any of the two games?

    When you say Dirge, do you mean the Decay or the damage amp + slow from the Flesh Golem?
    What exactly about the Invoker, there are like ~10 possible aspects for him :D

    Bonus ms from Track in DotA is granted by a dummy owned by the victim, that bears the Slow Aura with vuln/invuln enemies as targeted units, so, yeah it is an aura there.
    And yes, great! You already have found one more:

    - Track bonus movement speed aura fade delay is 0.5 seconds video link (please note that the videos made in this thread are recorded with host_timescale set to 0.5)


    Don't really know what you mean with OK, I'm not really that so informed to understand all the abbreviations :D
    No for the attack speed slows.

    Oh, I was only talking about that specific aura (the AoE slow/haste). So I meant the slow from Flesh Golem (I assume that at least in WC3, the slow and damage amplification are separate things, or maybe the amplification checks the slow debuff? Is that possible?).

    And from invoker, I meant the Slow from ghost walk. Also Frozen Sigil is probably affected by this.

    Misses some ability auras though. (Windrun, track, battle hunger, NullField, Nether wards mana degen aura, also how does LD's bear range to LD get messured in Dota 1? Is it an invisible aura? ...)

    Sorry, I began testing some of those from the lists li.lo and Kaneomanie provided, but then I got bored...
    It really is important for Omniknight and possibly also Pudge. Track was also a nice one, but... yeah I begin feeling bored as I start dealing with this video-testing stuff, and I don't want to be bored.

    Lingers for 2.5 seconds instead of 2-4:

    Windrun slow:
    [01:31.63] Windrunner is killed by Axe!
    [01:34.13] Axe loses Windrun Slow debuff.
    2.5 second


    Healing ward
    [01:40.06] Healing Ward is killed by Axe!
    [01:42.56] Juggernaut loses Healing Ward Aura buff.
    Linger time: 2.50

    Linger for less then a second instead of 2-4 second.

    Omniknight degen aura:
    [01:57.69] Omniknight is killed by Axe!
    [01:58.19] Axe loses Degen Aura debuff.
    0.5 seconds

    Beast Master Inner Beast
    [04:32.15] Beastmaster is killed by Axe!
    [04:32.65] Windrunner loses Inner Beast buff.
    0.5 seconds

    Lycan Feral Impulse:
    [08:24.53] Lycanthrope is killed by Axe!
