    slow sa servers

been about 2 weeks now that i have been experiencing slow and unstable latency from the sa server with about 0 - 4 % packet loss...

i can play on the Europe servers fine with higher latency but at least there is no packet loss and it is fairly stable...

i am not the only one experiencing this as lots of other players on chat also mention the same thing.

i am connecting from cell or telkom mobile. both does exactly the same on south african servers.

what can i do to assist with fixing this ?

So South African here, thanks for the servers guys just one complaint. the wait times for locating a server is extreeeemly long (not finding match, but finding servers) and it is only attributed to the fact that there are so few servers, could we please get a few more? Another problem with the limmited server capacity we cannot find any compendium games or other weird game modes properly as the server priorities for those game modes are so low that it never finds any servers....

What the Heck did you do to the SA servers, its starting to become a waste of time to play this game, because you spend as much time trying to get a game as you do in it... Waiting about 1 hour for a game now..

Think the biggest problem with SA server is the constant "in" spiking. games are unbearable. perma mini spikes. Ping is average of 50ms higher than usual for me and everone ingame is lagging.
This only happens on Sa cause europ is fine.

We have more ZA servers on the way. Should be available after tomorrow's update hopefully.

The problem is that there isn't a good return path from our network in Sydney to Indonesia. The one path we have right now goes via the US and back to Singapore before going to Indonesia, despite the fact your path from Indonesia is much more direct.

I'll open a ticket with our upstream provider to see if they can improve the situation.

    Trace complete.

There was a period of time where I was getting sub-200 to the AU servers too, but don't have a traceroute to see the differences. There's actually a direct link from Indonesia to WA so technically it shouldn't need to go through Singapore.

    e.g.
