Exclamation [Confirmed] AA's Cold Feet is removed by magic immunity

    hi there
i tested it in dota 6.77c
    repro :

1- pick AA and (your friend) huskar as enemy
2- use AA's first skill on huskar
3- use huskar ult on AA

    dota 1 result :
huskar will be frozen if he does not move even after using ult

    dota 2 result :
cold feet buff removes after huskar uses his ult.

    repro :

1- pick AA and (your friend) naix as enemy
2- use AA's first skill on naix
3- use rage lvl 1 on naix (alternatively repel lvl 1)

    dota 1 result :
naix will be frozen if he does not move even after using ult

    dota 2 result :
cold feet buff removes after naix becomes magic immune

    +++++++++++
    Thanks for reading ,
(and sorry for bad english) .

Huskar ulti gives him magic immunity while he charges

Huskar will charge up to his target, becoming magic immune, before doing the effects.

dude i just tested it multiple times in both dota1 and dota2
what there is : i said : use AA cold feet , then immediately use huskar ult , after huskar ult finished , he freezes in dota1 but in dota2 the buff removes from him.
if u don't agree maybe u can test it for urself.

You are indeed correct Op Cold Feet is apparantly not a Buff that can be purged by Magic Immunity

Intresting to note Cold Feet seems to work correctly with Nether Strike.

BKB isn't really an appropriate test, because, IIRC, even though the Cold Feet buff remains active, the stun isn't applied if the target is magic immune when the effect completes. Since Cold Feet lasts 4 seconds, there's no way you could cast Cold Feet, have the target use BKB, and then have the BKB effect be over when Cold Feet completes.

A better test is a Lifestealer with rank 1 Rage (Magic Immunity duration less than 4 seconds).

no , with bkb it is ok , i mean when AA uses cold feet and then enemy hero uses avatar , it does not freeze it just like dota 1.
and btw i also tested it with Spirit breaker , and it is normal too.

well according to what you said cold feet should run through bkb and if the magic immunity is over before cold feet ends (however that might be possible) the hero still gets frozen.
    or did i misunderstand?

the min time for bkb is 5 sec and u can not target enemy while his bkb is active , and if u target enemy with cold feet and then he activates bkb (5 sec bkb i mean (min bkb possible)) still he does not freeze because cold feet time is only 4 sec.
i mean enemy should move within 4 sec or he freezes . bkb min = 5 > cold feet = 4 . so u have still 1 sec bkb for canceling freeze.
i hope i described it good.
    so: it is OK.
