    [Confirmed] Heart regen doesn't linger for 2-4 seconds

    Summary:

    Heart of Tarrasque's healing should be based off a 2% healing ward aura (correct me if I'm wrong), which lingers for 2-4 seconds after it is triggered to stop, due to the aura fadetime bizzo (similarly to jugg's healing ward). It currently stops immediately nerfing heart drastically!

    Repro steps:

    1) Pick a hero, get a heart
    2) Spawn an enemy hero, and hit yourself down low enough so you can notice it.
    3) wait for regen timer to start
    4) hit the first picked hero again

    Result:

    Heart instantly stops healing

    Expected result:

    Healing lingers for 2-4 seconds, making it stay up for almost the entire duration of heart's cooldown for melee units.

    Could you do this in Dota 1 and post it here? I don't have it installed and it seems like this is a big issue provided what you said is correct.

    If that is all you have to add go to playdota.com and suggest it. I am actually sick of this crap, it has HUGE balance implications and the items/abilities this affects have been balanced around these characteristics. Just like jugg's ward, it has been balanced around the fact that it lingers, as has HEART, it's just the dota 2 devs weren't aware that this is how it should be. 4 - 8% of your max hp extra each time this happens can have MASSIVE consequences in a game.

    sounds like a bug for me and if you ignore this cuz you think it is a 'intended fix' and delete all other 800 bug reports

    I doubt valve will fix this anytime soon, but since you seem to be knowledgeable of dota 1 mechanics that no one has brought up after all these years,

    please do look for more hidden nerfs like these and report them.

    They have actually fixed a fair few of my bugs... Like the spectre ultimate bug, a few purge related issues and stuff like that.
