    [Confirmed] Pugna Netherward misses function to deactivate netherflare

    Pugna netherward miss the "stop channeling" feature from wc3.

    in Warcraft 3, you can manual activate/deactivate the mana flare aura from pugna netherward which leads to the enemy get damaged when cast spells near that aura.
    it is important to deactivate it in certain situations, for example, the enemy might try to kill you with blademail+skill spam. (famous on tinkers)

    i searched with the forum search function and in the known bug list, couldnt find something similar so sorry if it has been reported already.

    Does blademail even work on nether ward? I know it doesn't return damage from other wards, like plague ward, death ward, and mass serpent ward.

    Interesting, though. I never knew you could disable it.

    yes, a friend of mine and i did a test game, when he activate blademail and spam rearm or other skills in netherward range the dmg will be lead to me from blademail

    (test done in dota 2, not wc3)

    You're right about other wards not returning damage anymore. It could have been overlooked for Nether Ward.

    Interesting interaction. I never knew blademail worked against Pugna ward. It's a great counter to his ultimate too.

    Another next level usage of nether ward deactivation is to hide the aura from being seen until you have baited the enemy team in. Then they are trapped in a 1600 radius counterspell zone.
