Just curious, will setting a item slot to command Q still quit the application?

just curious if the minimum requirement of a Radeon 7000 is just a conservative spec for the testing phase. the reason i ask is that i have a Radeon HD 6970M that can run dota2 in a wineskin wrapper with the highest settings and get ~60fps whereas the mac beta client gives me ~20fps.

specs are 27in iMac, Mid 2011, 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB, OS X 10.8.4

First of all, all I want to say is... WOOOO! Finally omg, I've got sick and tired of constantly switching between windows and os x just to play dota 2, and I just switched to cs:go. After having the application error after the initial download, happy that it works now.

    System Specs:
    Screen Shot 2013-07-10 at 10.42.16 PM.png

    Few problems:
    - Performance 60+ on Windows, less than 30 on OS X
    - When I change the resolution from the main menu, and play a game the character selection is the initial resolution. Screen Shot 2013-07-10 at 10.50.16 PM.png
    - If I change the window mode to borderless window after increasing the resolution, the mouse selection is not aligned with the cursor.
    - Even in fullscreen, hot corners still activate.
    - When in game, after changing resolution this happens Screen Shot 2013-07-10 at 10.50.58 PM.pngScreen Shot 2013-07-10 at 10.51.14 PM.png

It says you need a Radeon 7000 or higher, and yours is quite a bit lower. You can give it a try, but it'll probably run very poorly.

First of all, thank you guys for porting DOTA2 to Mac even though it is late as promised.

I experienced no problem aside from low fps and muted audio.

My Macbook Air Mid 2011 System specs:

Processor: 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5
    Memory: 4 GB
VGA: Intel HD 3000 (384 MB shared)

Will try on my iMac soon and will give another feedback!

    Talking

So ive fully downloaded and messed around with settings
    Here are my specs:
    Screen Shot 2013-07-10 at 9.30.36 PM.png
    OS: 10.7.5
    Glitches/Bugs:

    1. sometimes after changing audio settings (it seems to be only audio), the client crashes.
    2. Upon loading into a custom lobby, there is no audio for a long time, then it comes and goes for a bit (it started comign back around ingame 0:00.
When under cpu stress (i think), the audio dropps out, like when alt tabbing out of, or into game.
    3. not really that big of a deal, but sometimes on load screens, if I command tab, the client decides to only cover the top half of the screen for a bit while being unresponsive. It goes back to normal after a while though
    4. If I change visual settings ingame, I immediately DC (EDIT: Occasionally it seems)
    5. The visuals ingame are extremely fuzzy, Items, and Visual Eeffects (spells, blink dagger, TP scroll that kind of stuff) aren't fuzzy. it almost looks unfocused
    EXAMPLES:
    Screen Shot 2013-07-10 at 9.41.08 PM.png
    Screen Shot 2013-07-10 at 9.39.22 PM.png
    Screen Shot 2013-07-10 at 9.37.45 PM.png
    Screen Shot 2013-07-10 at 9.37.25 PM.png

    other than that, Nothing ATM.
EDIT: Visual Fuzziness fixed by changing visual specs, My b :P

    Hope this helps

Is there a difference between Radeon HD and Radeon not HD? For example: is Radeon 7000 the same thing as Radeon HD 7000
