Thread: Windows vs Mac/Linux: FPS comparisons

  1. #101
I used to have 40-100 fps
After recent patch, my fps drops to 10 every 1 minute. It shows the cpu usage goes up to 50% for dota 2 from 25%.

There is some fucking bug somewhere in recent patches.

playing with gtx 670, used to have smooth fps on windows.
now having noticeably laggy performance on hackintosh on the same highest settings (the same hardware, no video card drivers installed - should be supported natively).

I think open source drivers should be used, if you can't install the proprietary driver.

I have just registered here for saying fckk your translation layer valve.

    https://github.com/ValveSoftware/ToGL

This game has been always buggy laggy since announced from day1 for linux and osx because its not running natively.

Just try with csmt patched wine running butter smooth as on windows platform, shame..

Anyone get a drop with the .81 patch? Looking at netgraph I'm riding 20fps now when prior I used to get 60.
